Department: RETAIL SALES
Reports to: OPERATION MANAGER
 
1. Job Purpose: The holder of this position has the overall responsibility across the national retail Sales area, i.e. being accountable for successful sales operations in its achievement of profit and volume objectives throughout the country in a manner which ensures the long term viability of the organization. This shall be partially achieved through selective delegation of responsibilities and authority to subordinates – Regional sales managers.
 
 2. Accountabilities:
- Formulate a business plan to execute company’s development strategies (market level, channel strategies, geographic coverage, competitive strategy)
- Forecast sales as precisely as possible to related department (factories, logistic…) to ensure total operational efficiency of the company.
- Meet or exceed agreed volume targets within budgeted trade expenses and departmental expenses
- Develop distributors network, ensure optimum relationships and alignment with key distributors
- Implement permanent visibility programme to entrench ‘Path to Purchase’ effectiveness in all channels
- Set specific objectives and targets for SS sales staffs (regional level) to ensure agreed growth rate and efficiency in all regions.
- Control expenses of retail sales department to have efficient spending vs budget.
- Gather valuable competitive and other information from market place to contribute to planning process or strategic/tactics formulation.
- Coordinate with all departments in the company to bring efficency in total operations, especially through close collaboration with Marketing and Sales Productivity
- Manage sales administration (credit, delivery – coordination, contracts, cash, commission, report writing…) as per Company procedures
- Maximize customer service
- Responsible for recruitment, motivation, training/coaching and development of subordinates to build a highly professional and competent sales organization
- Responsible for training, development plan for subordinates, as well as establishing a succession plan at RSM level
 
3. Key Performance Indicators: 
- Achieve agreed objectives in terms of sales volume, revenue, market share, distribution coverage, demand forecasting.
- Achieve cost efficiency of retail sales team : cost per case, % TTS expenses vs NPS… in tem of productivity such as : number of customer per sales men, strike rate, calls per day, effective time management of all levels.
- Achieve retail sales profit target
- Growth rate both in term of sales volume and active outlets in all sales regions.
- Increasing number of good performers in sales team.
- Work within legal framework, and support internal audit plans

1. Educational Qualifications :
- Graduate from business administration or economics universtiy
- MBA preferably
- Passed all course in sales field : Sales force management, leadership, negotiation, train the trainers….

2. Work Experience
- Proven experience in managing and building teams
- Proven experience in problem solving
