Report to: NATIONAL SALES MANAGER

1. Job Purpose:
The holder of this position has the overall responsibility across the regional Field Sales area, i.e. being accountable for the successful operation within the field sales area in its achievement of profit and volume objectives throughout the assigned region in a manner which ensures the long term viability of the organization. This shall be partially achieved through selective delegation of responsibilities and authorities to subordinates – District sales managers and/or sales supervisors.

2. Accountabilities
- Achievement of regional agreed sales volume under given limitation of resources (TTS, people, sales equipments/facilities and others)
- Formulation of regional annual operation plan (OPL), which is converted from NSM.
- Development and retention of the distribution network timely and professionally
- Supervision and leading of the sales team regionally.
- Leading the development of the sales organisation in terms of recruitment, training, motivation and control.
- Recommendation of development and implementation of sales strategies and plans.
- Setting specific objectives, targets and activities for regional sales teams and the distribution network.
- Understand and follow the competitive market situation.
- Management of the sales administration (credit, delivery co-ordination, cash, commissions and report writing)
- Maintain good relationships with customer (Distributors, Key Accounts) and company functional departments.
- Maximize Customer Service and take any necessary action to maintain same including the satisfaction of any customer complaints.
- Adhere to the company’s Accounting and Administration policies and guidelines.

3. Key Performance Indicators
- Achieve 100% budgeted objectives in terms of sales volume, sales volume, market share, coverage in the market
- Achieve productivity of sales team as agreed benchmarks.
- Controlling expenses 100% within or under budgeted expenses.
- Number of field working days to be at least 60% working time.
- Increasing number of positively grown distributor within assigned regions.
- Increasing number of good performer in his/her sales team
- Maximize organization of time, management of sales force,
- Ability to work effectively with all company departments.
- Operate within legal frame work.



 

1. Educational Qualifications
- Graduate from business administration or economics university
- Passed basical coureses in sales field : selling skills/sales force management/superviory/train the trainers are preferable

2. Work Experience
- At least 02 year in the same or equivalent level in a well-known FMCG company
- Have good experience in managing sales team
- Have good experience in handling conflicts (channel conflicts, internal conflicts)
