• Build and manage the companies R&D Team incorporating timber and handicraft product.
• Develop an overall strategy that, in line with the companies will give the department clear goals and objectives for future product design direction.
• Create and present new product ranges to the sales team for approval to produce. All product developed should be targeted to customer price points, seasonal buying trends, cost effective and in keeping with the companies strategies.
• Implement an effective production process to ensure all product and customer sample development is completed on time and to the desired quality
• Document and institutionalize job descriptions, quality standards, flow charts and organizational charts. Standardize product good, better, best.
• Assist the sales department with customer visitations and product development. Analyze the new trend of products and find out the way to attract customers. Suggestions which area to sell to
• Work in conjunction with sales team and management regarding fairs and special promotions.
• Maintain the presentation of the showroom
• Cost reporting: Meeting Budgets, Success and failure ,controlling work shop budget, Waist reporting
• Training staff on trends, material color etc.
• Performs other related work as assigned

** Work in Binh Duong.
 

- Technical university graduated ( in wood processing is preferred)
- At least five years experience in senior role in research and development department in the manufacturing sector
- Experience working with international customer base and in manufacturing of timber and handicraft products
- Excellent English spoken, written and reading and able to communicate fluently with foreigners.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member particularly able to share information between departments
- High computer proficiency, CAD, Photoshop, Corel Draw
- Know how to design, evaluate product structure and calculate the product’s cost.
- Good managerial skill.
- Mature, dynamic, confident.
- Can work under high pressure.
* Candidate in Binh Duong is preferred
